UNRAVELING CONSTIPATION AND THE DIS-EASES IT BRINGS

Constipation defined is if you eat and do not evacuate you are constipated.   If you eat 3 meals a day you should poop 3 times a day.


Constipation is caused by 5 things.   Lack of water, lack of fiber, pain medications,  holding on and not going to the bathroom when the bowels call, and stress.


If you are already constipated adding fiber now is the wrong move.   Miralax, Ducolax, Feen-a mint, and psyllium and others are like adding straw to mud in the hot sun. What you get is concrete in the bowels.


Drinking more water is great but you already have a dehydrated bowel and the best solution is drinking water from the bottom up! Yes a colonic.


When you get the urge to go, GO!  Stop holding on.  The fecal matter will continue to dry out and get hard making it really hard to evacuate latter.  Some of you are embarrassed to use a public restroom.  You have to get over this.  Pooping is necessary and everyone does it so get over your perceived embarrassment.
